• I want to thank the pastors, staff, Call Committee and the members of St. John’s who have warmly welcomed me into the leadership fold. I am blessed, honored and excited to be serving as the Director of Resources and Administration. Truly, God has provided me with a new life plan and path for deploying in service to our mission the knowledge, skills and abilities I developed over the course of my career.

  • St. John’s thanks and honors the many volunteers among our members whose contributions to this church are so valued!  Our volunteers are the reason bulletins are assembled and distributed each Sunday, offerings are collected and counted each week, visitors are greeted, tracked and sent welcome letters, and so much more.

  • Are you tired of running out of money before you run out of month? Are money problems a source of family conflict? What would you do with $1 million and no debts? How outrageously generous could you be without debt consuming so much of your income?

  • Mark your calendars for the next edition of “St. John’s Resounds!” featuring organist Christoph Bull in recital on Saturday, February 11 at 2:00 p.m. Bull is organist-in-residence of First Congregational Church, Los Angeles, which boasts the largest church pipe organ in the world.

Bull may be described as a renaissance man of sorts. A fine organist who plays all the instrument’s repertoire and improviser, Bull is also known for bringing his diverse interests, including rock ‘n roll, visual art and dance to the instrument. He also combines the different mediums every so often.

  • The youth of St. John’s invites all to their annual crab feed! Themed "A Winter Wonderland," this crab feed will bring winter magic to the all-you-can-eat crab, pasta and rolls event. Alcohol will be available for purchase as well. The youth ask that individuals bring their own butter warmers and crab tools to make sure the feasting go as smoothly as possible.

Every year, the St. John's youth group hosts a crab feed to raise funds for their summer trip. This summer they are heading to southern California for the Western States Youth Gathering at California Lutheran University. While in southern California, the youth group will also spend a day at Disneyland and spend time at Resurrection Lutheran Church in Los Angeles.
