Joel Barkel
After attending school at Luther College and serving as a Young Adult in Global Mission through the ELCA in Madagascar, Joel settled in Sacramento and began working at St. John's on the Property Staff.
Property Staff are responsible for daily cleaning and maintenance of all St. John’s campus buildings.
St. John's is a vibrant, urban church centered in enthusiastic and inspirational worship, grace-filled service and rich opportunities for spiritual growth.
St. John's is a Reconciling in Christ Church of the Sierra Pacific Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA).
